We also offer the most convenient boat club on Lake Travis and we care for our boats as much as we value the customers that sit in them. Joining is Easy

Give us a call or click this link to send us a message to arrange your personal tour. We will show you the fleet of boats and will work with you to determine which of our memberships will meet your boating wishes. Then, submit an application. Most qualified applicants are accepted within 24 hours. All that is left is to become a knowledgeable and proficient boat operator. Captains need to complete a boating safety certification course. Easy Boat Club Membership

Sail & Ski Yacht Club’s Boat Club is structured much like that of a traditional golf club membership.

  • Join with a one-time initiation fee and remain current with the payment of membership dues.

  • It is easy to reserve the boat of your choice using our simple online reservation system.

  • Then, on the day of your reservation show up to the dock, get in the boat, and away you go. It's that easy.

+ Where is the boat club located?

Sail & Ski Yacht Club is on the south shore of Lake Travis onveniently located in Lakeway, TX just off 620 on Stewart Rd. Sail & Ski Yacht Club is a private membership based marina that caters to boat owners with wet slip, dry land storage, and launch only memberships. Our Boat Club Membership provides non-boat owners with the opportunity to experience the boating lifestyle in a quiet, easy to get to location that also includes the award winning Sundancer Grill lakeside restaurant.

+ Who may operate the boat?

If you are at least 25 years old and hold a Texas Boating Safety Certificate you are eligible to become a Sail & Ski Yacht Club boat club member. Once your application is approved and you are certified, Sail & Ski staff will give you a complete orientation on each style boat you would like to take out, then you are ready to make your first reservation.

+ How many guests are allowed?

As a member you may have as many guests accompany you as the Club’s stated capacity for a given boat. Most boats safely accomodate up to 12 persons.

+ How do I become a Boat Club Member?

Give us a call or fill out the online form to arrange your personal tour. Most qualified applicants are accepted within 24 hours. A Texas Boating Safety Certification is required to become a captain. After training and orientation on our fleet of boats, you are ready to schedule your first outing using our online reservation system.

+ How are reservations made?

To maintain availability for all members, you may make a specified number of Advanced Reservations. Once a reservation is used, a new one may be made. It is a rolling reservation system, where the minute you satisfy one of your reservations, you are free to make another. The earlier you reserve the more likely you are to get the booking you want. In addition to the specified number of Advanced Reservations, Members will be able to sign up for Space Available Reservations within 48 hours of an available time slot.

+ Is insurance included with membership?

Sail & Ski Yacht Club maintains insurance that covers all of our vessels as well as third party liability. Members are responsible for the damage they do to a boat, but generally members are only responsible for paying damage up to a specified deductible.

+ What if the boat breaks down while I am boating?

Sail & Ski Yacht Club provides towing coverage for your peace of mind, 7 days a week.
